Adventure Bound Deer Run offers five ways to stay at one of upstate New York's largest family camping resorts, just 27 minutes from Saratoga Springs and 29 minutes from Albany. Whether you're looking for a fully equipped cabin with a kitchen and bathroom, a full-hookup RV site with 50-amp electric, or a shaded tent campsite surrounded by mature trees, Deer Run has an option that fits your family. Every guest — cabin or campsite — gets full access to Pirate's Cove Water Park, heated swimming pools, the Adventure Bound Express Train, mini-golf, themed weekends, and all resort activities at no extra charge.

The resort is open from mid-April through mid-October and features more than 500 campsites plus three cabin types. Deer Run offers five ways to stay: Deluxe Cabins with Loft (sleeps 8, full kitchen and bathroom), Deluxe Cabins (sleeps 6, full kitchen and bathroom), Rustic Cabins (sleeps 4, no kitchen or bathroom), full-hookup W/E/S RV sites with 30/50-amp electric and sewer, and W/E tent and RV sites with water and 30-amp electric. Do the cabins have kitchens and bathrooms?
Deluxe Cabins with Loft and Deluxe Cabins both include a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, cooking utensils) and a private bathroom. The Deluxe with Loft has a shower/tub combo while the Deluxe has a large walk-in shower. Rustic Cabins do not have a kitchen or bathroom but are located near clean bathhouses with hot showers.
What should I bring to a cabin rental?
For all cabin types, bring your own linens, towels, sleeping bags, pillows, and lawn chairs. Deluxe cabins provide kitchen essentials (utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot) but you should bring your own food and personal items. All cabins include fire rings and picnic tables for outdoor cooking and relaxation.
How do I choose between a cabin and a campsite?
Choose a cabin if you want a roof over your head, air conditioning, and (for Deluxe options) a private kitchen and bathroom. Choose a campsite if you're bringing an RV or tent and want the classic outdoor camping experience with full utility hookups. Both options include access to every resort amenity — Pirate's Cove Water Park, pools, the Express Train, themed weekends, and all activities.
